Singapore-based fiat-crypto payment gateway, Alchemy Pay, has formed a strategic partnership with the travel-themed NFT collection, Trekki NFT, aiming to broaden the capabilities of the fiat-crypto payment gateway’s NFT checkout and streamline the minting process.
In this collaboration, the travel-themed NFTs are notably backed by the renowned global online travel services provider, Trip.com. The primary objective is to allow users interested in minting and acquiring Trekki NFTs to utilize their preferred fiat payment methods, effectively simplifying the complexities often associated with cryptocurrency transactions and enhancing the overall user experience.
As part of the integration, Alchemy Pay’s NFT Checkout now encompasses a wide array of payment channels, including AlipayHK in Hong Kong, DANA in Indonesia, GCash in the Philippines, and GrabPay in Singapore, among others. This expansion of payment options empowers Alchemy Pay to provide a comprehensive solution for the sale and acceptance of NFTs, offering users the flexibility to acquire NFTs using their preferred payment methods.
Trekki NFT, which is issued by travel booking service company Trip.com, represents a captivating travel-themed NFT series. Through this partnership, Trekki NFT aspires to facilitate the transition of Web2 users into the world of Web3.
Prior to this announcement, Trekki had successfully forged similar collaborations, including partnerships with 9GAG’s Web3 project Memeland and Animoca Brands’ membership NFT series, Mocaverse.
In an official press release, Trekki disclosed that it has initiated preliminary discussions with representatives from Japanese and Thai airlines, aiming to expand the utility of Trekki in diverse travel scenarios, further underlining the project’s ambition to reshape the travel and NFT landscape.
