Doodles, an NFT collection, has purchased Golden Wolf, an animation studio which has previously been nominated for an Emmy.
The announcement was made by both companies. Doodles and Golden Wolf were previous partners for Doodles2, which was announced during NFT NY in 2022. So far, the companies haven’t disclosed the details of the acquisition.
Following this move, Doodles is able to invest in fresh sources of content which include AI animation generation and storytelling without constraints, according to a tweet from Doddles’ founder, Jordan Castro. Golden Wolf previously invested in markets that exceeded animation and the deal enables Doodles to try its luck with music or fashion.
According to an announcement from Doodles on Twitter, a fresh new chapter begins for the NFT collection as it continues to grow its franchise. Character development, narrative storytelling, and world building will be the company’s focus for the future.
Despite Golden Wolf declaring its future independence in operations, the Doodles brand will be carefully surveying the studio. The latter’s CEO and founder will join Doodles as its content lead. Ingi Erlingsson will concentrate on the studio’s operations while focusing on the next steps for Doodles.
