Polygon, a prominent Ethereum scaling solution, has introduced Polygon Copilot, an artificial intelligence interface powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT. This innovative tool is specifically designed to support developers in building decentralized applications (dapps) for the Polygon blockchain, offering valuable analytics and insights.
The Polygon team announced the launch of Polygon Copilot through a blog post, highlighting its potential to empower developers and enhance their app-building process. The AI interface utilizes the advanced capabilities of the GPT-4 large language model, trained extensively on documentation related to the Polygon blockchain. Its primary purpose is to provide developers with comprehensive analytics and insights for their dapps, spanning areas such as wallets, transactions, and the creation of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within the Polygon ecosystem.
Polygon Copilot caters to developers of varying skill levels, featuring three tiers: beginner, advanced, and degen. This approach ensures that users can comfortably onboard themselves based on their familiarity and experience with the interface.
Polygon emphasized the versatility and accessibility of Polygon Copilot in their blog post, stating, “Whether you’re a serious builder, an enthusiast, or a curious user, Polygon Copilot is an AI-powered interface that unlocks a world of interactions, simply by ‘asking.'”
The introduction of Polygon Copilot is part of Polygon’s broader tech upgrades and marketing initiatives, collectively known as “Polygon 2.0.” In line with this, Polygon recently released a proposal aimed at upgrading its main blockchain, the Polygon POS chain, to a zkEVM validium, further demonstrating their commitment to advancing blockchain technology and scalability solutions.
With Polygon Copilot, developers in the Polygon ecosystem can leverage the power of AI to streamline their app development process, gain valuable insights, and unlock new possibilities for innovation within the decentralized application landscape.
