The lead developer behind the Shiba Inu (SHIB) project, known as Shytoshi Kusama, has re-emerged from his pseudonymous identity and re-engaged with the community via Telegram. In a series of messages, Kusama shared insights into the project’s development and addressed various community questions and concerns.
Kusama expressed his excitement about the projects built on Shibarium and his willingness to come out of a period of relative silence to support the community and ongoing collaborations. He noted that discussions with key individuals and community leaders were taking place, hinting at strategic developments ahead.
Kusama suggested that their recent silence was a deliberate phase of introspection and strategic alignment to strengthen the Shiba Inu ecosystem. He also revealed plans to build a framework that would inform the community about the plans, products, and platforms related to the LEASH token, emphasizing the importance of decentralization.
When it came to Shibarium’s low usage, Kusama explained the relationship between token “burns” and utility, highlighting the need for increased usage within the decentralized community.
In response to inquiries about specific timelines for key developments, Kusama advocated for a broader, philosophical view of time, suggesting that rigid timelines might not be the most effective approach in a complex and evolving ecosystem.
Questions regarding Shiba Inu’s integration into mainstream payment systems like McDonald’s and Burger King were met with a pragmatic response, acknowledging the challenges involved and ongoing strategic considerations.
Kusama also addressed the importance of the Shibarium key for integration with Hoichi, emphasizing the need for clear communication between the Shibarium team and community-driven initiatives.
