The lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB), a popular memecoin and Dogecoin (DOGE) rival, has shared a roadmap for the project’s future in a recent blog post. Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous developer, aims to fulfill the vision of SHIB’s anonymous creator, Ryoshi, for the dog-themed meme asset.
The blog post discusses the creation of the SHIB Doggy DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) Foundation, which would execute decisions made by the official SHIB DAO and hold its assets. Shytoshi proposes a revamped version of Shiba Inu’s DAO that would be divided into four parts, each representing the core tokens associated with the project: SHIB, BONE, TREAT, and LEASH.
The goal is to ensure that all members of the SHIB community have an equal voice in the governance process. This transition will take time to implement and work out effectively.
Additionally, Shytoshi reveals that SHIB has plans to sponsor the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference in Canada, scheduled for August. The conference will serve as a platform to unveil further information about TREAT, the token responsible for governing community projects, as well as Shibarium, the eagerly awaited layer-2 scaling solution. Attendees can look forward to the presentation of the finalized Worldpaper, which outlines the project’s vision in detail. Moreover, the conference will showcase a range of Shib-branded projects that have been developed. This event presents an exciting opportunity for the SHIB community to gain insights into the future direction of the project and witness the progress made in expanding its ecosystem.
At the time of writing, SHIB is trading at $0.000007, reflecting a 1.64% decrease in the last 24 hours. The community eagerly awaits further developments and announcements as Shiba Inu continues to evolve beyond its memecoin origins.
