Shiba Inu’s layer-2 blockchain solution, Shibarium, has reached a significant milestone by exceeding one million wallets since its mainnet launch in August. This achievement was proudly revealed by Kaal Dhairya, a developer closely associated with the Shibarium project.
In an informative blog post, Dhairya celebrated this remarkable wallet milestone and emphasized the project’s unwavering commitment to elevate Shibarium as a premier layer-2 network. He articulated his aspirations, saying, “We have achieved – and aim to maintain – our status as one of the fastest and most cost-effective layer-2 networks available. (I also read somewhere that some people are unhappy that the gas prices are very low in the network, which made me chuckle.)”
Following the blog post, transactions conducted on Shiba Inu’s scaling solution, Shibarium, have also surged past the one-million mark.
Dhairya went on to announce the network’s plans for an upcoming promotional campaign aimed at boosting the visibility of projects built on this new blockchain. He urged users to employ the explorer for thorough research and contract verification. He stated, “Soon, we will begin promoting projects that are built on top of Shibarium. We won’t be able to do this if your contracts aren’t verified. Thus, please make sure to use the Blockscout contract verification system.”
Additionally, the developer revealed that the project has introduced a new Blockscout explorer named Shibariumscan, a valuable addition that allows the dedicated protocol team to focus on network enhancements while ensuring the explorer remains fully operational and the blockchain remains completely indexed.
