Injective has announced the integration of Solana assets on its platform to introduce a new era of composability to the Web3 universe.
Injective will act as the main layer 1 gateway for the assets, enabling them to access a broader environment and unlock various new DeFi opportunities and primitives. Users interested in transferring Solana assets to the Injective platform can do so through the Portal Bridge or Injective Hub. The latter supports SOL transfers into the platform. Furthermore, the Injective Hub also brought along the most in-demand Solana wallet, Phantom, to allow users to experience a familiar product when they join Injective. The Bridge is available to be visited, offering the possibility of choosing Solana in its dropdown menu. The Injective Bridge allows users to link with the Phantom Wallet and make Solana asset transfers to the Injective platform.
Following its Wormhole integration, Injective became an interoperable network. Wormhole is a generic protocol for message-passing, connecting blockchains of high value. By working only with proven Layer 1 blockchains, Wormhole’s popularity rose. Thus, Injective became the sole blockchain to provide support for Wormhole.
Leveraging Wormhole’s cross-chain tech, Injective made a gateway to allow SOL to enter its platform and the Cosmos ecosystem.
