Solana’s version of Dogecoin, blockchain-based memecoin Bonk Inu (BONK) will provide over 15,000 NFTs on Magic Eden, the Solana-based marketplace.
The digital tokens will allow BONK to increase its usage on the Solana blockchain. So far, BONK managed to attract massive hype and transaction volume.
The soon-to-be-released digital collection was designed in partnership with popular NFT projects based on Solana. The NFTs will consist of profile pics, allowing future holders to use them on social media platforms such as Instagram or Twitter. The NFT collection features artists from the community created by Solana, from which we mention the Omni studio and John Le. Omni is a creative studio that designed the prominent Solana NFT projects Gods and Fracture.
A fraction of the NFT assembly will be granted to holders of Gods due to their proof of support for the studio and project. Over 8,000 NFTs will be designed for BONK holding wallets. The non-fungible tokens in question will represent profile pictures based on art with no utility plans announced so far. The price for initially issuing a BONK NFT will be USD 50 in BONK. Secondary trading can then be performed by using SOL tokens.
Those who hold Gods NFTs on Solana will gain the first chance to mint BONK NFTs. From the sales, half of the revenue will be used to acquire and burn BONK. The Bonk Inu project will be governed in the future with BONK, the token, not the NFT. This translates into BONK NFT holders not benefiting from voting rights.
