NFT project Moonbirds, a company founded by designer Justin Mezzell and former Twitter and Facebook Kevin Rose, has partnered with UTA (United Talent Agency), the talent agents behind major Hollywood stars.
Founded in February 2022, the NFT company has a catalogue that includes Oddities and Proof Collective non-fungible-token collections. The announcement came on Twitter, Rose suggesting on the 6th of January that the partnership’s purpose is to showcase the Moonbirds project into the mainstream, worldwide, instead of the company being known just on the Web3 stage.
According to the official tweet, UTA brings 1,400 people to the table, having specialists in TV, movies, video games, music, books, sports, speaking, branding and licensing, fine arts, broadcast, marketing, and more. The designer behind the Moonbirds NFT project is the PROOF company. It has partnered with UTA after signing a deal for representation with the talent agents of major movie stars in Hollywood.
Rose went a little bit more in-depth in regards to this latest move, mentioning that UTA will represent PROOF to perform activities related to expansion, vetting, brokering, and partnerships across multiple different fields.
Moonbirds is a project based on Ethereum and it was launched in 2022. The collection has 10k NFTs of 8-bit avatars representing owls. Until now, these NFTs generated close to USD 620 million in secondary sales.
