Sheikh Hamdan has made a 100-day plan that he says is very serious about adding government institutions to the metaverse, and he is making rapid progress in implementing this plan. Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai, recently held a meeting with the Future Technology Development and Digital Economy Higher Committee. At this meeting, he reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to becoming a global capital for the burgeoning digital economy. In order for him to do this and realize Sheikh Hamdan’s vision, he also needs government agencies to help him.
Sheikh Hamdan’s most important goal is to add up to $2 billion in capital to the emirate’s economy while creating 40,000 virtual jobs by 2030. To achieve these goals, Dubai implemented the Metaverse Strategy in July 2022. Sheikh Hamdan’s new 100-day plan, on the other hand, is an extension of this intended and ongoing initiative. State institutions have also been involved in this project.
Sheikh Hamdan’s 100-day plan is strategic partnerships that will help over a thousand companies get involved in the Web3 industry. These partnerships will be made with private businesses and event companies that are targeted to serve the metaverse. In addition to these partnerships, according to Sheikh Hamdan’s plan, he wants to build a community of investors, entrepreneurs, and creators so that they can be resolved when new problems arise.
Sheikh Hamdan is popularly known as Fazza, which means helper. According to the 100-day development plan, serious power will be added to Dubai’s digital economy. Also, thanks to this initiative, citizens of Dubai will be educated about the metaverse and the opportunities it offers.
