Entertainment company Forbes, which runs the business magazine, partnered with NFT platform The Sandbox to leverage the metaverse for a fresh multiplayer experience.
This isn’t the first time the two companies partner up. In November 2022, Forbes used The Sandbox to host an event exclusive to members. Now, players can experience Forbes in the metaverse and learn more about the magazine, try various educational experiences, or opt for a Forbes party atmosphere. One of the first big companies to welcome the Web3 environment, Forbes made use of Web3 and the metaverse to engage its members in different activities. This new joining of hands will display the magazine’s successes and its history in what should be an interesting experience made possible via Web3.
Beginning on the 14th of December 2022, Forbes will organize several educational events to showcase the publication’s history and the passions of former publisher Malcolm Forbes, among others. These events will allow players to access the Sandbox metaverse to find out more about the new Forbes culture until the 28th of December 2022.
Inside the Forbes metaverse, players can discover various mementoes showcasing Forbes’ successes in an NFT gallery, which will also display a collection of Forbes 30 under 30 NFTs. Previously, Forbes chose to showcase the Virtual Billionaires NFT collection besides their virtual net worth.
Alongside the metaverse experience, players will have the possibility to buy exclusive Forbes wearables which can be equipped in The Sandbox. Additionally, The World’s Richest publisher also announced the possibility of special surprises and Christmas gifts in The Sandbox.
