FC Shakhtar Donetsk and Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trade volume, have announced a new partnership.
As the first beneficiary of Binance Web Services (BWS), the Ukrainian football club is being introduced to the world of web3. Along with this partnership, Binance has launched FC Shakhtar Fanverse, which enables the connection of football fans with cryptocurrency.
The project offers an opportunity for both football and cryptocurrency enthusiasts to take part in club-related activities and win incentives, including signed jerseys, match tickets, and meet-and-greets with FC Shakhtar players. To join the activities and earn rewards, fans must first claim a Binance Fanverse Passport, choosing between a Super Passport or an Experience Passport based on factors such as ID verification, new user status, and referrals. The fanverse will also allow football fans to show their prowess by predicting FC Shakhtar’s game scores, with a total prize pool of $36,000 up for grabs.
